Thank you

If you want to create but are not sure where to start how about making some thank you cards? A few cards are always handy, you could even make a set to give as a gift.

This pretty card was given to me by Janet and Chris who often visited Creativity. The main card is a luxurious opal pearlescent card which has been lightly distressed using a soft brush, olive green and rusty coloured ink over the edge of a Dreamweaver Picasso stencil to give a cloud effect.

Two shades of glitter card have been die cut into a delicate flower display and vase. The Thank you is a gold peel-off.

The following card was given to me by a friend, the 3d butterfly is made from two butterfly images. (Layer the 2 designs, only sticking the top butterfly along its body and bending the wings forward it creates a dimensional effect.)

The border of the picture and greeting is nicely coordinated with the butterfly. Crisp white card and four dark grey spots finish the card in style.

Another stylish card this time made by Sandra has been stamped in three shades of green which Sandra has coordinated beautifully with the card and mounts.

In each example simple colour schemes have been used, the main pictures are crisp and there is a mixture of sticker, printed and stamped greeting. Choose your favourite colours to work with and try a couple of colours or images that you have not used before.

Make a deep box for a few cards and their envelopes or wrap them in tissue and tie with some string or pretty ribbon to make a nice gift or donation to a charity shop.
